The 2015 Digicel ABBA League has been living up to all the hype that was anticipated. The two rounds of games that will be played has created some interesting matchups and rivalries that should make things interesting.
We’ve received lots of feedback from players, fans and others about our predictions for Division 1 in the last ABBA Hoops Issue. Needless to say, there were lots of controversy about which team will finish in what position, but here’s our assessment following the last two (2) rounds of games.

Current 5-4: Prediction 13-5 (5th Place)
- Continues to play well
- Had 2 tough losses to Ovals and Freetown
- Will surprise some teams
GLOBAL HAWKS
Current 4-4: Prediction 10-8 (6th Place)
- Good team that plays hard
- Very disciplined
- Continues to punch above their weight
IDEA MEDIA OUTLAWS
Current 4-4: Prediction 10-8 (7th Place)
- Great team on paper but still lacks discipline
- Lost their leading scorer Ishorn Petes to Flyers
AKHIMO
Current 2-7: Prediction 5-13 (8th Place)
- Fighting to remain in Division 1
- Winning games against lower opponents
ASOT ARCADE YOGI WARRIORS
Current 1-7: Prediction 4-14 (9th Place)
- Tough team
- Missing a key ingredient for success
- Seems to have given up
- The team that fights for every ball and plays hard
NEWFIELD TAPERS
Current 0-8: Prediction 1-17 (10th Place)
- Looks to be heading to Division 2
- Lacks leadership on the court
- Still waiting for a first win, not sure where it will come from
